Microbial Evaluations with Remediation Protocol Development
SDII Global Corporation (SDII) provides services related to water and mycologically (mold/mildew/yeast) impacted buildings and residences including Microbial Evaluations with Remediation Protocols.
SDII's expert staff of C.M.R. (Indoor Air Quality Association [IAQA] Certified Mold Remediator) certified environmental scientists perform fieldwork associated with SDII's Microbial Evaluations. The fieldwork typically incorporates the following generalized scope of services:
- Homeowner or Designated Representative Interview;
- Basic Cause and Origin Verification;
- Site Plan Development;
- Visual Site Evaluation;
- Moisture Content, Ambient Temperature, and Relative Humidity Measurements;
- Air and/or Surface Sampling for Subsequent Laboratory Analysis;
- Limited, Visual HVAC System Assessment.
Following the site visit and data collection, a detailed Microbial Evaluation with Remediation Protocol report is prepared under the supervision of a C.M.R. and C.I.E. (IAQA Certified Indoor Environmentalist) certified environmental engineer and a Ph.D. Aerobiologist/Epidemiologist. The Microbial Evaluation report will incorporate a site-specific Remediation Protocol, providing proper procedures, guidelines, and activities related to the removal of microbially compromised building materials and subsequent cleanup activities, if necessary.
SDII provides a two-day response time from initial assignment to site visit date and a two-week turnaround time from site visit to report completion date. SDII can also accommodate emergency projects that may require rush turnaround times.
