SDII Global Registry
A Property Risk Evaluation Service of SDII Global Corporation

The SDII Global Registry service helps insurers evaluate a property for risks of sinkhole potential prior to underwriting, using state-of-the-art geologic analysis and actual sinkhole claim history. Registered users can log on to this site to evaluate individual properties immediately, or, for multiple properties, submit a list of the properties to SDII via email.

Sinkhole risk evaluation is determined by assigning scores in two areas:

  • The Sinkhole Index (SI™) score is based on the risk of a sinkhole developing at a property.
  • The Sinkhole Claim Index (SCI™) score is based on the risk of a sinkhole claim (sinkholes as well as other causes, i.e. clay, organics, etc.)

SDII Global Registry can assist the insurer in determining an acceptable threshold for action based on the Sinkhole Index and Sinkhole Claim Index scores. Becoming an SDII Global Registry user is simple:

  • To request a user account, an insurer provides SDII with the name and email address of the desired user.
  • SDII processes the request and sends an invitation to register at the SDII Global Registry site to the desired user via email, usually within 24 hours of receiving the request.
  • The user clicks the link contained within the emailed invitation to access the SDII Global Registry registration web page to complete registration and select a user name and password.
  • Immediately upon completing registration, the user will be directed to the login web page to begin using the SDII Global Registry service.
